SHIPPING:

When Will My Order Ship?

Most of our orders ship the same day! Orders placed after 3pm Eastern Standard Time will ship the next business day. If you have a special request to ship a critical item after 3pm EST - call our sales staff @ 800.941.5690 and we can try our best to help with your request. If an order is placed after 3pm on a Friday or a day proceeding a holiday, it will be shipped on the next business day, shipping companies (UPS, FedEX, DHL) do not consider Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays shipping days - so these days are not considered when determining the time your order will be in transit.

Do you ship to APO and FPO address's?

Yes! We ship to APO and FPO address's via USPS Mail. Our system does not allow for a standard checkout to be completed with the shipping address listed as an APO or FPO address. You must select your shipping address to be a standard address, this does not mean we wont ship directly to you! Read on! While checking out - simply enter your APO/FPO shipping address into the "Comments" section of your order. Our employess all know what to do when the comments section contains an APO or FPO address, so there is no need to worry about shipping errors! All APO and FPO shipments of lamps and other small items have a flat rate of $25 - please contact sales @ 800.941.5690 if you would like to find out the shipping cost of any item that is of medium or large size. And dont worry about inflated fees - you help us all, we will do what we can to return the favor!

What shipping company will deliver my order?

We use them all so it can be any one of them! Currently we use UPS and DHL for most Domestic Shipments, USPS for APO and FPO shipments, USPS for most Canada Shipments, and DHL Express for most other International Shipments . If for any reason you do not want to accept shipment by a specific company or know that that specific company has trouble delivering to your area, make a note of this in the comments section of your order and we will take care of the rest! Please note that if the request causes a significant increase or decrease in the total cost of the shipment - we will contact you to get authorization to change the shipping total before charging your account. For a rate increase example - if you checkout with an order being delivered to an APO address your fee for USPS will be $25, but if you do not want to use USPS and select to use UPS, FedEx, or DHL - the actual shipping cost may increase. For a rate decrease example - if you checkout with an order being delivered to an Internation address and select to use USPS instead of the methods listed - the actual charge will be greatly reduced. Please note, when using USPS for International orders the transit time is much slower (up to 2 weeks) than with DHL Express (usually two days).

Will My Shipment Be Insured?

Advanced Lamps, LLC fully insures every order that we send out of our doors. This cost is included in the shipping cost. We take great methods to ensure our shipments are packaged well enough to sustain the transit from us to you. As you may know, we sell many projection lamps and other fragile products. We are proud to say a shipping damage rarely occurs! Each projection lamp is individually boxed with adequate protection for shipping. Advanced Lamps takes a further step in ensuring their resilience - we put that box into an additional box with more padding for added protection. Rest assured your lamp order will arrive in perfect condition.

How do you ship large items?

Advanced Lamps, LLC ships large items via freight. This includes large Plasma, LCD and DLP Televisions as well as some oversized projectors. These shipments are restricted to the continental United States. We do not ship large items outside of the boundaries of the continental United States. Some exceptions may apply to areas of Canada as well as Mexico, please contact Sales for details! If you would like to order one of these items please contact sales for an accurate shipping quote!

SHIPPING DAMAGE:

Although Advanced Lamps takes extra caution to ensure your order will arrive in perfect condition, damages to from time to time occur. If you think that your order has arrived damaged, immediately contact Advanced Lamps @ 800.941.5690 and let us know. We will contact the shipping company an arrange for the claim to be started. You will be responsible for helping us to give the shipping company any information needed to process this claim as well as to provied the shipping company the damaged shipment. Advanced Lamps will send a replacement of the damaged portion of your order to you, you will not have to wait until the claim is paid to recieve your order.

RETURNS:

Advanced Lamps, LLC. will accept return of factory sealed, unopened, and unscathed product for up to 30 days. After 30 days we will not accept the return of any product. This product must be returned by the original purchaser, we do not accept third party returns. The items returned must be in the same factory sealed, un marked, saleable condition as they were sent. Do not deface, mark, open, or alter any package you wish to return in any way. If an item is returned in any condition other than the exact condition it was sent out in there will be a 25% restocking fee.

Plasma TV's, LCD TV's, Projectors, Video Scalers, and any other high value and /or large items cannot be returned for any reason - unless a specific exception has been agreed upon for the specific purchase and reason. Be sure you are ready to buy an item before you purchase! Make sure your significant other is OK with your purchase before you make it - far too often we receive calls of buyer remorse due to personal disagreements of financial ability! Please be sure you can buy what you buy! We will do our best to accomodate, but policy states we do not accept these large items for return! These items all come with a factory warranty and can only be exchanged for defect!

Projection Lamps can be returned for defect or exchanged due to defect for the full value of the lamp. If you are returning a lamp because you have decided you no longer want or need the lamp, then the 25% restocking fee will apply. In the event it is still factory sealed and unused, this fee can be waived in portion or in full due to the specific scenario. If you purchase a lamp and it ends up that you have purchased the wrong lamp, we can waive the fee in full if it is unopened or waive a portion of the fee if it is opened, but unused. We will do our best to keep this fee as low as possible. The reason for the fee follows: When a projection lamp is returned to us and it is opened we have to go through a lengthy method to determine if it was used. This method is costly as there are people who must perform these tests and shipping costs involved in getting it to them. In most cases it is actually more cost effective to simply dispose of the lamp. We incurr a total loss when lamps are returned to us opened or "slightly used" - we do not pass this total loss along to our customers, we take the majority of the loss for you. In closing - how would you think of us if we sent you an opened, used lamp!

Return Authorizations (RA's):

Advanced Lamps, LLC. requires all returns or exchanges to be first approved so that we can effectively process them as received. The process is straightforward and made to be easy. The best route to expedite your return is to send an email to returns@advancedlamps.com In this transmission please include your name, the best telepone number to reach you, and your order number. This will generate a request in our system and your order status will be changed accordingly to reflect the exchange or return. This will also automatically generate an email with the instructions for exchanging or returning. Alternately you can call 800.941.5690 and select the option for returning or exchanging your product. Note: this is for leaving voicemail only, so you will not get to an attendant, please leave the same information requested clearly and audibly. These two methods are recommended as our sales staff does not handle returns. Please follow these instructions and your return or exchange will be processed smoothly. If you do not get an email back by the end of the business day, please first log into your account at www.advancedlamps.com and check to see if your order's status has changed - you can also retrive the information here. If it is not posted here either, contact sales or customer service directly so that they can determine what the delay is for you. Our technicians are also custom installers and development guru's so they spend their time in and out of the office - this method will ensure the fastest processing of your return as they sometimes process returns after hours when the phone lines are closed.

You will have 2 weeks from the date your orders status has changed to get the product into us, after 2 weeks the status will change and the return or exchange will not be accepted.

Do not write, deface, or alter the items packaging in any way. Please follow the instructions completely on the return for exchanging printout. If your return is still factory sealed , do not open it to put the paperwork requested in the box! - include the paper work in the "over-box" if your return does not require to be overboxed you must request a packing list sleeve from the shipper and include this paperwork within that sleeve, attached to the outside of the box. Use your best judgement for placement of this sleeve so that is does not deface an additional portion of the box. Alternatively you can fax all the paperwork or scan and email it, along with the tracking number it applies to, to 800.941.5690 or returns@advancedlamps.com

The customer is responsible for sending in any returns or exchanges to Advanced Lamps. If you went to your local store and picked up an item and then got home and decided you did not want it or it was defective and you needed a new one, would they come to your house to pick it up and then come back to deliver it to you? We will ship a return or exchange back to you via ground shipping at our cost, but you will be resposible for getting it to us. Duty fees, shipping taxes, and other fees associated with international shipments are not included and will not be covered by Advanced Lamps.

When returning an item internationally you MUST categorize the product correctly as a defective item or a return. Advanced Lamps will not accept defective products or returns listed otherwise as they will include many unnessecarry fees. Please contact your local shipping agent to ensure you are shipping the defective product or return properly!

When returning opened product Advanced Lamps must receive everything that was included when the product was shipped. This includes all accesories, included software, registration paperwork, warranty paperwork, and any other item or document that was included when we shipped the item to you. This is very important and will ensure that the return is processed. Items returned with missing components, accesories, or documents will not be accepted. The buyer will be responsible to return the missing items or to pay for the shipping of the non-returnable product back to the customer.

Fully insure all returns or exchanges! If you fail to ensure a product being returned or exchanged and it is damaged in transit you, the customer, will be responsible for the item!
